Weekly Update

Good afternoon.

 

Today is Friday, July 22nd and this is an update of activities and events

here at Ascension for the coming week and beyond.

 

Sunday, the 24th, the 10th Sunday after Pentecost, we gather in my office for prayer at 8:30 AM.  The adult Sunday School class meets in the library at 9 AM.  We are currently working our way through a Bible Study entitled "No Experience Necessary".  The title of this week's study is "Making Partner: God has a plan to bless the world and invites us to be part of it."  Prior participation is in no way required.  Everyone is welcome.

 

We'll gather for snacks and fellowship in the Parish Hall at 10 AM and

worship will follow at 10:30 AM also in the fellowship hall.

 

Monday morning, the 25th, the Kaffee Klatsch meets in the library at 9 AM.

 

The domino players meet in the library on Wednesday morning the 27th at 9:30 AM.

 

The Natural Church Development Health Team is preparing for some important meetings to be held soon to discuss ways in which we can provide even more meaningful opportunities for worship.   Please stay tuned for more information.

 

In our prayers this week, we remember Pearl Clark, Mildred Burdick, Mildred Gerstmann, Nancy Johnson, Anne Adams, Benne Fae and Barney Simon, LaVonne Beckman, Ray Siegal.
