Taco Soup

2 pounds ground beef
1 small onion
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Pepper
1 package *1-1/4 oz.) taco seasoning
1 package (1oz.) ranch dressing mix
 
1 can (14-1/2oz) whole kernel corn, undrained
3 cans (14-1/2oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, undrained
1 can (15 oz.) pinto beans, undrained
1-1/2 cups water
 
Brown ground beef with onion and green chilies on medium high in a large Dutch oven or pot. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Simmer 30 minutes on low. Serves 10.
