Cherry Chip Scones

3 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup sugar

2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

6 Tablespoons cold butter (no substitutes)

1 cup (8 ounces) cinnamon vanilla yogurt (HEB brand)

¼ cup plus 2 Tablespoons milk, divided

1-1/3 cups cherry flavored raisins

2/3 cup coarsely chopped white chocolate with pecans candy bars (Hershey's brand)

Heat oven to 400 degrees F and grease a baking sheet.

In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine ¼ cup of milk with the yogurt and then stir into dry mixture. Add raisins and candy and knead to combine.

Pat the dough into a 9 inch circle and then cut circle into 8 wedges. Transfer wedges to baking sheet and brush the tops with remaining milk. Bake for 20 minutes and serve warm.

Makes 8 large servings.
