The Organ

Ascension Lutheran Church's  pipe organ was dedicated November 20, 1988.  It was built by Agape Pipe Organs (Bob Borchers and Chris Stone).

Many members of the congregation helped with the organ in some way.  Electrical power to the organ was supplied by congregational members.  The case work for the organ was also executed by members of the congregation.  They also received help from Wayne Schultz of Austin who drove to Erie Pennsylvania to personally pick up the new pipes for the organ.  He also helped with the installation and tuning of the organ.
