Youth Sponsored Pancake Breakfast

 

 

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

As Christians we are taught to love and to care for one another and for those in need. However, too many times we are unable to do the things we want to do. Either we don't have the time, or the money, or we don't know what to do to help others. Instead of focusing on what we can't do, the children of Ascension are encouraged to focus on what we can do to help others.

God has given each person special and unique gifts. What gifts have you been given? What can you do to help others? Even though we are just children, even we can do something to help others. For example, we can mix up some batter for pancakes; we can set up tables and chairs; we can set out plates and napkins. Just as Christ served us, we can serve you! Serve you breakfast that is.

So you see, even children can use the gifts that God has given them to help others.
