Text Box: Church Workday On Saturday, April 16 we will be having a church workday at 9:00 a.m..  We’ll be repainting the curbing and working on cleaning up the Parish Life Center in preparation for Vacation Bible School in June.  Please come and lend a hand!   Invite A Friend Sunday The 1st Sunday of every month will begin our “Invite A Friend” Sundays.  We have coffee and donuts, wonderful Bible study and worship service.  Won’t you do your part and invite a friend to come and experience the joy of living in God’s amazing grace!   Wedding Shower for Steve & Becca Everyone is invited to a wedding shower for our Seminarian Steve Cox and his fiancee, Becca Anderson, Sunday, April 10th immediately following the morning worship.  The fun will take place in the parish hall.  For more information, please contact Celeste Domsch.   Family Game Night A family game night will take place on Friday night, April 15th at the Johnson’s, 3018 Cedar Elm in Round Rock.  The fun begins at  7 PM.  Stay tuned for more details!   SEEDS Luncheon The SEEDS group will meet for lunch on Wednesday, April 13 at Elsi’s on 4708 Burnet Road at 1:00 PM.  Everyone is invited.  For more information, please contact Lorain Glawe.     Text Box: CONGREGATIONAL NEWS Text Box: OFFERING REPORT Text Box: Adult Bible Study All adults are invited to Bible Study Bible Study every Sunday morning.  We have great topics and interesting conversations.  At the moment, we are studying various world religions.  Did you know that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world?  Come and learn how God is working h is  plans for our lives.    Cooperative Ministry Meeting The next meeting of neighboring ELCA congregations participating in an ongoing discussion about ways of working cooperatively in mission and ministry will take place Thursday, April 14th at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1711 E. Oltorf in Austin.  The meeting will begin at 7 PM and should wrap up around 8:30 PM.  For more information, or if you would be interested in carpooling, please contact Gary Cowles or Pastor Peterson.   New Adult Education Class A new adult education class, Prayer & Temperament, is being formed for the spring.  The class will be facilitated by Jenny Peterson, who lead a Clergy Spouse Retreat for the North TX/La Synod in February based on the same material.  Participants will take a brief personality questionnaire and then practice various styles of prayer that relate to each personality type.  This is a very meaningful way to better understand yourself and enrich your spiritual life.  The class will likely run for 5 weeks during our Sunday morning education hour, and the starting date will be announced shortly.  Come and join us!
